- PitchUp is expanding to Ireland, north and south. The service features sites across several counties including Clare, Cork, Wexford and Antrim. Users can filter their search but a series of criteria including family friendly, glamping and stunning views.
- Avis Budget has selected Maxymiser to help improve customer experience, retention, website optimisation and increase bookings on its services in the EMEA region. The partnership gives Avis access to Maxymiser's multi-variate testing technology which will be applied across the rental company's reservation process with initial testing to begin with France. There are also plans to test experiences via mobile further down the road.
- Travora, formerly the Travel Ad Network, is branding its newly launched mobile app network MANGO (mobile ad network on the go). The network helps advertisers reach travellers during the different trip planning stages with access to 350 million monthly mobile page views. MANGO aims to provide consumers with relevant content across a number of areas including weather, flight status, activities via mobile devices.
- BudgetPlaces gets a makeover this week, with a new homepage ahead of plans for major moves into the mobile space in the coming months. New iPhone and Android apps will launch in August and a HTML5 mobile website will materialise at around the same time.
