TripIt has developed an application enabling travellers to access travel plans on Google Glass.
A statement says the Concur-owned itinerary management specialist was selected, alongside a group of travel partners, to bring its travel organiser to Glassware - apps for the wearable device.
The development means travellers will be able to get the latest information such as gate changes, flight delays and other journey information (car rental, hotel) to their devices at eye level.
Users of the TripIt Pro (subscription required) service will get real-time flight status updates during the trip including check-in reminders, flight delays etc. and be able to view alternatives where necessary.
The Glassware app can be downloaded from Google Play.
Rich Adams, TripIt's head of mobile says the company and Google 'share a common goal to organize information and create technology to make people's lives easier.'
FourSquare and Open Table have also announced apps for the device joining existing Google services, Field Trip and Google Now.
TripIt's initiative comes on top of Google Glass trials from various sectors of the travel industry.
Earlier this year Virgin Atlantic partnered with SITA on a trial with Upper Class passengers while Starwood Hotels & Resorts announced it was testing an app enabling guests to get directions, view images and make a reservation.
