Thursday 22 June 2017:Travelport renews Gray Dawes
- The corporate travel agency has signed a new multi-year partnership with Travelport to access travel content, covering flights, hotels and other products. The agreement includes its two recent acquisitions, Cambridge Business Travel and Travel Management Group.
Wednesday 14 June 2017:Google Flights takes off in Australia
- Australia is the latest point of sale for Google's Flights, with the product now live. It includes the explore tab which is meant to inspire users and the tracked tab which allows users to follow prices for specific city pairs.
Hahn adds another Chinese carrier
- Beijing Capital Airlines is the latest airline to joins Hahn Air's network of interline partners. The carrier is based at Beijing Airport and has a fleet of 78 Airbus aircraft which serve some 200 domestic and international routes. It is part of HNA Group and is the twelfth Chinese interline partner for Hahn.
Travelport gives flights to
Sandals- The upmarket tour operator has integrated with Travelport so that agencies can offer packaged flight+resort holidays, rather than having to book seperate items for a trip. Sandals (parent company: Unique Caribbean Holidays) has 20 properties in seven countries including Jamaica, Barbados, Antiqua and St Lucia.
Monday 12 June 2017:Amadeus lands Musafir partnership
- The Middle East-focused online travel agency will use Amadeus to access travel content on the GDS. The Dubai-based brand will also use Amadeus for its Master Pricer, business intelligence tools, fare optimiser and productivity tracker technology.
Friday 9 June 2017:Travelport renews South Korea distributor package
- Aviation services company Sharp Aviation K will continue to act as Travelport's national distributor in the country under the Worldspan Korea brand. The long-term deal will see Worldspan Korea resell services such as Smartpoint and other desktop tools to local travel agencies.
Thursday 8 June 2017:Sabre agrees PAWA deal
- The Dominican Republic carrier will use Sabre for distribution and to handle its reservation system. Other services in the partnership include revenue management tools and a market intelligence platform. PAWA flies to domestic destinations, countries elsewhere in the Caribbean and the US.

Musement distribution
- The attractions software provider will give its roster of operators additional exposure to consumer markets via the deal with Musement. The Italy-based activities OTA currently features content in 400 destinations around the world.
Monday 5 June 2017:DHISCO holidays with Cathay
- The Holidays channel of Cathay Pacific will use hotel content from the accommodation distribution to form packages and standalone sales for passengers online. Around 110,000 hotels are featured on the DHISCO platform.
Thursday 1 June 2017:HotelBeds taps Trekksoft for activities
- Trekksoft will power real-time bookings on the accommodation wholesaler's attractions and tours product. The partnership will also see 2,000 activities added to Hotelbeds platform, giving it a total of over 14,000 worldwide.
Air Tanzania shifts to
Hitit- The carrier has moved its departure control, reservations and passenger service technology to HitIt and its Crane platform. Air Tanzania flies to 12 destinations in the country and neighbouring Comoros.
