Strong words, for sure, but when hospitality brands and intermediaries consider what is happening in other sectors and how the status quo is effectively the same as it was years ago, then the detractors might have a point.
The apparent lack of innovation becomes more acute and perhaps frustrating when hotels are under constant pressure of managing their availability and rates, competition, uncovering demand and distributing their inventory on the channels that are most profitable.
