There are reports that some employers are asking job applicants for their social networking passwords or to friend the head of human resources so the company can take a closer look at the applicants' status updates, Timeline and personal photos.
And, some colleges allegedly are getting into the act, as well.
Is it hard to imagine the day when some governments might press for travelers' social networking details as a condition for granting a visa application or merely to get through customs or security lanes at the airport?
Or to rent a car, perhaps?
