London Luton Airport has taken a drubbing in the UK press this week for posting a picture of a Chicago air crash incident on its Facebook page.
The picture was (mistakenly) posted on Wednesday by an 'over-enthusiastic' employee and removed just over an hour later with an apology posted yesterday evening on the airport's Facebook page.
The picture was meant to highlight how well the airport deals with snow but caused a backlash because a child died in the Chicago incident.
What's interesting here is that Luton admits it got it 'very wrong' and the positive feedback, for the most part says the press office, it has received from its community, as a result.
A spokeswoman says:

"We are currently regrouping and formulating a strategy but it won't happen again. We have spent the last couple of days dealing with it but we've had good support from the community. We have worked hard to built that up so we hope people see it for what it is and accept our apology."
Comments from most fans berate media outlets for blowing it out of proportion and advise the airport to just move on.
More than 80 people have commented on the apology with 71 putting a 'Like' on the statement.
The Luton reaction echoes Thistle Hotels' recent response to an angry customer on Twitter.
