Certify, an expense management software specialist, has acquired real-time expense reporting system Abacus.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed and Certify says the acquisition will help it serve a more “diverse range of customers”.
Last year, K1 Investment Management invested $125 million in acquiring Certify and merging it with Nexonia, ExpenseWatch and Tallie.

At the time, the combined entity said it was the largest independent company in the the expense management space as well as the largest competitor to SAP Concur.
K1 also said at the time that it would provide additional capital for acquisitions.
Abacus was founded in 2013 and counts companies such as Dropbox and Quora among its customers.
