Just a couple of days remain to register for Battleground: The Americas in New York.
The one-day event, being held on August 7, throws the spotlight on travel innovators, giving them the opportunity to pitch to potential investors and travel industry partners.
Anyone attending will have a glimpse of up-and-coming ideas and innovations, as well as the chance to meet and network with startups, other industry partners and investors.
Battleground innovators include subscription-based flight booking service SkyHi, NFC-based flight aggregation and merchandising platform Duffel and search engine marketing platform TripElephant.
Others joining the pitch lineup are Voyhoy, a multi-modal platform for South America; Arise, a blockchain-based distribution network for hotels; and Vacation Fund, an employer-matched travel savings program.
The final three innovators demonstrating their ideas are hotel communication and guest experience company Creating Revolutions, content discovery platform with real-time prices and availability Triptech and ICM Hub, a chat system for transportation companies.
Joining the lineup are a number of speakers from high-profile companies including Cliff Galitz from the Google travel business development team; Richard Harris, CEO and co-founder of Intent Media; and Christina Heggie, an investment associate with JetBlue Ventures.
