Artificial intelligence (AI)-powered travel platform Mindtrip has announced a partnership with the Norwegian Travel Cluster, its first destination partnership in Europe.
The partnership brings Mindtrip's travel discovery technology to “Norway by Locals,” an upcoming website created by Norwegian destination organizations.
Norwegian Travel Cluster brings together 29 destination organizations to help travelers create personalized trips. Norway by Locals draws content from the destination websites and local partner listings to help travelers plan, save and share trips across Norwegian destinations.
The initiative will also surface curated recommendations, interactive maps and tips for restaurants, accommodations, transport and attractions.
"AI is transforming how people discover and plan travel, creating new opportunities for destinations to connect travelers with experiences that truly match their interests," said Andy Moss, co-founder and CEO of Mindtrip.
"Travel is evolving, and destinations need new ways to connect travelers with the experiences that matter most to them," said Kristoffer Paulsen of the Norwegian Travel Cluster. "Norway by Locals is built on a simple idea: Local knowledge creates better travel experiences."
The platform will also provide participating destination organizations with insights into what travelers are searching for, the places and experiences they explore and what prompts them to take action.
The partnership follows Mindtrip's recent launch of an AI travel assistant that learns and retains traveler preferences across trips and uses that information to personalize recommendations.
The company, a PhocusWire Hot 25 Travel Startup for 2025, also recently unveiled an Answer Intelligence solution, which helps destination organizations create content optimized for AI discovery.
