Bilt has opened its platform, Bilt OS for Hospitality, to travel advisors.
Bilt is a loyalty program that lets members earn reward points on rent and mortgage payments. Earlier this year, the company said it was building a technology platform for travel advisors.
The online booking platform is personalized to an agency's International Air Transport Association number and pseudo city code. It offers a number of tools: a trip and itinerary builder, Sion commission-tracking capabilities and an agentic artificial intelligence concierge to assist advisors.
It also gives advisors' clients access to a self-booking platform, available 24/7, enabling them to book their own travel but with the support of their travel advisor.
While pricing is still being determined, the platform will charge users a monthly fee as well as a fee attached to each passenger name record, according to Richard Kerr, Bilt's general manager of travel.
"Advisors have been managing fragmented systems for years and lacked many of the tools they need," said Kerr. "We built something that actually simplifies and innovates on legacy travel technology. With Bilt OS for Hospitality, advisors benefit, their clients benefit and Bilt benefits. That's the whole model: We built a flywheel where everyone wins."
Bilt worked with a travel advisor board in developing its platform.
"They want to understand how travel advisors actually work, what challenges we face and what would create meaningful value for our businesses," said SmartFlyer executive director Lianna Guttzeit. "That collaborative approach is helping build a platform that reflects the realities of our industry and has the potential to move it forward."
Bilt announced the platform Sunday at the Virtuoso Travel Week Tech Summit in Las Vegas.
"The most hospitable way to manage travel—especially luxury travel—is with advisors, and we heard and saw more and more that travel advisors needed a singular, efficient operating system," said Bilt founder and CEO Ankur Jain.
