Hospitality
technology specialist Mews has acquired Flexkeeping, a platform which automates housekeeping processes, for an
undisclosed amount.
The
acquisition brings housekeeping and team collaboration tools into the Mews
ecosystem to help hoteliers manage the guest journey from check-in to
check-out.
Flexkeeping,
which was founded in 2012, provides automation and scheduling tools to help
drive efficiency in hotels. The platform also enables real-time task management
and communication and connects housekeeping, front desk and maintenance teams
with collaboration tools.
Flexkeeping said its technology, which also includes analytics, has
helped hotel teams become 40% more productive, reduced guest complaints by 45%
and improved the guest experience.

The
acquisition, which has been made through Mews

last year.
More
recently Mews announced a funding round of $75 million led by Tiger Global. The
company said the investment would help it expand in the U.S. as well as to more
