European Vacation Rentals, which includes brands such as Hoseasons, James Villas, Landal GreenParks and Novasol, has been renamed Awaze.
The London-based company was originally formed last year when Wyndham Worldwide sold its European vacation rental business to Platinum Equity for $1.3 billion.
Awaze chief executive Henrk Kjellberg says it’s a new corporate name for the company but the brands retain their individual and local feel.

He adds that at company is looking at further growth through mergers and acquisitions so wanted something to “bind it together.”
Kjellberg says the company has recently hired a chief technology officer and a chief financial officer with more senior hires including revenue management in the pipeline.
“We’re looking at opportunities everywhere and have an M&A team. Our core focus and where our strength lies is Europe. We want to expand our product footprint.”
Awaze is also looking to develop technology solutions for guests as well as property owners.
Going forward, the Awaze brand will also be used as the brands collaborate more and share content.
