TourConnect is launching a booking automation tool that uses advanced technology to drastically reduce time tour and attraction operators spend processing booking emails.
The reservations-focused tool is an email add-in that connects a supplier's inbox to their booking system to extract key data and pre-fill the booking form. Using intelligent technology to eliminate the need to manually process email bookings will save the time it takes a reservation team to create, cancel, update and search emailed bookings.
“Placing bookings manually is a thing of the past,” says Jessica Horton, reservations manager at Go West Tours in Australia. “The ability to quickly, accurately and automatically process bookings directly from an email is a major game changer.”

TourConnect blended tech from Google, Facebook, OpenAI and other sources in a way the company says pushes beyond chats and content generation to provide an intelligent day-to-day tool for reservations teams.
The tool is initially available to non-accommodation operators, such as tours, activities and attractions. Hotels, resorts and other accommodation providers will have access to the tool in the coming months. TourConnect's first two integration partners are booking platforms FareHarbor and Ventrata.
