Cloud-based property management system Mews has nabbed €6 million in Series A funding to develop its platform and services for hotels.
Notion led the round, with participation from HenQ and Thayer Ventures.
Mews will use the capital to increase automation for hotels and build on the growth the company has seen over the past year - expanding from 10 to 35 countries and increasing revenue by 20% per month.

Different Hotels, Machefert, Clink and Wombats are among its customers, and Mews has more than 43,000 beds in 350 properties that use its API to facilitate everything from online check-in and payments to booking management and staff training.
“Until recently hoteliers were forced to rely upon a closed one-stop-shop PMS offered up by incumbent players who have held a luddite attitude towards the hospitality industry for years,” says Mews founder Richard Valtr.
“The modern hotelier deserves more, and we’re here to empower them with tools that constantly adapt to modern requirements.”
Mews will also use the funding to open new offices around the world.
