It's been a strange time for the airline distribution ecosystem, as software companies have jockeyed behind the scenes for change amid a 20-month period of near-shutdown for the sector.
Kyte, one of PhocusWire's Hot 25 for 2021, is one of a number of companies that have emerged on the scene in recent years with a mission to overhaul how airlines connect with interediaries and consumers.
The U.K.-based company provides an API so that third parties can connect directly with multiple airlines, including low-cost carriers and associated ancillary services.
PhocusWire spoke to its CEO, Alice Ferrari, during The Phocuswright Conference 2021 to understand more about its strategy as well as her backstory with EasyJet.
