Talk about adventure travel ... Yves Rossy, aka Jetman, apparently fed up with airline bag fees and costly in-flight entertainment systems, reportedly flew over the Swiss Alps using a jet-propelled wing, and he was accompanied by two L-39 C Albatros planes from the Breitling Jet Team.
Of course, as any veteran daredevil would, Rossy leapt out of a helicopter to get the high-jinx on high under way.
To frolick with Jetman, the aircraft reportedly had to slow to near-stalling speed, but fortunately the aircraft kept on going.
One can't be sure if Rossy's exploits point to the future of commercial aviation, but given exhorbitant fuel costs these days and a trend toward solo travel, you never know.
Judge for yourself.
