Bizey
India-based Bizey was founded in 2025 by Ankit Bazari to help finance teams simplify expenses using artificial intelligence (AI)-powered automation.
Bizey uses a software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscription model, and the company plans to add premium features to create upselling opportunities and increase revenue per customer.
What is your 30-second pitch to investors?
Bizey is an AI based travel procurement and expense compliance platform founded by a team with 16+ years of proven experience in fintech, expense management, vendor management and SaaS automation. We’re transforming how companies manage the travel process, TMC management and expense compliance, bringing automation, intelligence and transparency to every financial workflow.
Describe both the business and technology aspects of your startup.
Bizey helps businesses simplify and automate travel and expense management. Our goal is to reduce rework, improve policy compliance and give finance teams better control and visibility over travel and expense (T&E) operations through an easy-to-use SaaS platform. Bizey is a cloud-based platform that seamlessly integrates with ERP, HRMS, and travel systems. By combining AI with automation, we streamline travel and expense processes, making T&E management faster, smarter and more efficient.
Give us your SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis of the company.
Strengths: Our team's deep expertise in fintech and enterprise SaaS, combined with seamless integrations across ERP, HRMS and travel systems, enables us to deliver a scalable and user-friendly solution.
Weaknesses: As an early-stage startup, we are still building brand recognition and expanding our customer base.
Opportunities: The increasing adoption of AI, digital finance transformation and business travel automation presents a significant growth opportunity. We also see strong potential to scale through strategic partnerships with ERP providers, HRMS platforms, TMCs and other channel partners.
Threats: We operate in a competitive market with established global players. Long enterprise sales cycles are also something we would like to work on.
What are the travel pain points you are trying to alleviate from both the customer and the industry perspectives?
Organizations often manage travel bookings, expense management and finance operations across three separate systems, resulting in disconnected workflows, poor visibility into travel spend, delayed invoice reconciliation, inconsistent policy compliance and a fragmented employee experience.
From an industry perspective, the lack of integration between travel, finance and HR systems leads to spend leakages, inefficient reconciliation, limited automation and a growing need for AI-driven, end-to-end travel and expense management.
Bizey brings travel and expense management together on a single AI-powered platform that unifies travel booking, expense management, approvals, policy compliance, invoice reconciliation, expense audits and travel agent payments. This helps organizations improve spend control, streamline operations, eliminate fragmented workflows and deliver a seamless travel experience for employees.
Now that the product is built, what's your strategy for customer acquisition?
Bizey will acquire customers through a combination of founder-led sales, strategic partnerships and targeted marketing. Leveraging our years of experience in fintech and spend management, we engage directly with CFOs, finance heads, and admin teams to solve their challenges and demonstrate measurable business value.
We will also partner with TMCs, consultants and system integrators to expand our market reach. To build credibility and generate demand, we would like to spend time in industry content, case studies and media.
Our initial focus is on growing enterprises that are still relying on manual processes or legacy systems for travel and expense management, helping them modernize operations, improve compliance and gain better control over corporate spending.
Tell us what process you've gone through to establish a genuine need for your company and the size of the addressable market.
Before building Bizey, we spent years working closely with finance, procurement and operations teams across organizations of different sizes and observed recurring challenges in managing business travel and employee expenses. We conducted customer discussions, industry research and problem-validation sessions with finance leaders to understand their pain points around expense processing, policy compliance, travel invoice reconciliation and lack of spend visibility.
The feedback consistently highlighted the need for a modern, AI-driven platform that could automate these processes and improve control over corporate spending. The T&E management market is large and growing globally, driven by increasing business travel, digital transformation initiatives and the adoption of AI-powered finance automation. Our initial target market includes midsize and enterprise organizations.
How and when will you make money?
Bizey operates on a SaaS subscription model, generating recurring revenue through businesses. Customers pay based on factors such as the number of users, active employees, transaction volume or selected product modules. We also generate implementation and integration revenue during onboarding for larger enterprise customers.
Revenue generation begins immediately upon customer deployment, with recurring subscription income providing predictable long-term growth. As we expand our customer base, we plan to introduce additional premium features in T&E space creating opportunities for upselling and increased revenue per customer.
What are the backgrounds and previous achievements of the founding team?
The founding team of Bizey brings multiple years of experience in SaaS, fintech and spend management.
In my past, I was part of leadership roles across sales, pre-sales, solutioning, implementation and customer success at organizations such as Razorpay and Sage ERP. I was also part of the founding team at Finly, where I played a key role in scaling the business and contributing to its successful growth and eventual merger with Sage. Throughout my career, I had worked closely with finance, procurement and CXOs, helping enterprises automate processes related to expenses, accounts payable, procurement and spend management.
I successfully helped build and scale businesses from early-stage to maturity and bring deep expertise in go-to-market strategy and after-sales support.
The team's collective experience and industry knowledge have enabled us to identify critical gaps in the T&E ecosystem and build Bizey as a platform designed to solve real-world challenges faced by modern enterprises.
How have you addressed diversity and inclusion within your business?
Bizey is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace by providing equal opportunities regardless of gender, background or experience. We have always focused on creating a culture that values different perspectives and encourages collaboration, ensuring that hiring and growth opportunities are based on merit, skills and potential.
What's been the most difficult part of founding the business so far?
The most difficult part of founding Bizey has been balancing product development, customer acquisition and resource management simultaneously as an early-stage startup. However, these challenges have also helped us stay customer-focused and build a solution that addresses real market needs.
Generally, travel startups face a fairly tough time making an impact. Why are you going to be one of the lucky ones?
Most travel startups focus on bookings, while Bizey focuses on a much larger and more persistent business problem, i.e., controlling and managing corporate travel spend before and after booking is done.
Our advantage comes from deep domain expertise in fintech, expense management and enterprise SaaS, gained through years of working with finance teams and building successful businesses in this space.
We are solving real pain points that we have personally witnessed. We are creating a platform that delivers measurable ROI to finance teams and admin teams, making it a business-critical solution rather than just another travel product.
A year from now, what state do you think your startup will be in?
A year from now, we expect Bizey to have achieved strong product-market fit, onboarded multiple enterprise customers and established a recurring revenue base. We aim to be recognized as a trusted AI-powered T&E platform, with a scalable product and go-to-market strategy supporting our next phase of growth.
What is your endgame? (Going public, acquisition, growing and staying private, etc.)
Our long-term vision is to build Bizey into a leading AI-powered T&E management platform for enterprises. Our primary focus today is on building a sustainable, high-growth business with strong customer value and recurring revenue.
As we scale, we remain open to multiple outcomes, including continued independent growth, strategic partnerships, acquisition opportunities or eventually pursuing a public listing. The priority is to create a category leading company that delivers long-term value to customers, employees and stakeholders.
