The new capital brings the total invested in the U.S.-based company to $40.5 million - coming via the latest round, a $9.5 million Series A in late-2017, plus a string of seed rounds between 2014 and 2016.
The idea behind Hipcamp is that it connects landowners of private land with recreational vehicle owners and campers.
It also include some traditional lodging options.
The funding will be used to expand the marketplace of hosts and owners, the company says.
CEO Alyssa Ravasio says: "Since partnering with private landowners in 2015, Hipcamp has assembled America’s largest network of private land for camping, glamping and RVs, unlocking thousands of unique places and outdoor experiences throughout the country.
"As a result, our emerging markets have experienced explosive growth, earning tens of millions of dollars for landowners. We’re so inspired and motivated to contribute to expanding rural economic empowerment, protecting natural ecosystems and local food systems, and sparking widespread, profound connections to the outdoors."
