Google Chrome wants to ensure that airlines aren't nickel-and-diming travelers during the holiday season.
For the second consecutive year, Google's browser is sponsoring free Gogo Inflight Internet on U.S. airlines.
During the 2009 Thanksgiving to New Year's holiday season, travelers on Virgin America and those hanging out at 50 airports got the free Wi-Fi courtesy of Google.
This year, passengers on AirTran, Delta and Virgin America will get the free service on their U.S. domestic flights between Nov. 20, 2010, and Jan. 2, 2011.
The freebie service will be available on some 700 aircraft and is expected to impact some 15 million passengers.
Of course, Google won't mind if travelers, while flying through the clouds, use Chrome to do their browsing.
