GoEuro, a service which enables consumers to compare different types of transport in Europe, has formed a partnership with Qunar.
The deal means Chinese visitors to Europe will be able to search for and book rail tickets to destinations across the continent. There are also plans to build API connections to enable bus tickets to also be offered.
GoEuro says the partnership is the first time it has offered its content to a third party and "marks its move" into Asia.
Qunar saw investment from Ctrip in late 2015 with the latter owning shares worth 45%.
In a statement Rupu WEI - Amy, general manager of international rail at Ctrip Group says:

"This partnership aims to directly provide travel solutions for independent Chinese travellers when booking rail tickets throughout Europe.
"Younger Chinese travellers are particularly looking to explore off the beaten track destinations and it is vital that we offer an easy to use digital platform to enable this."
GoEuro says further deals with Chinese and international travel companies are in the pipeline.
The company launched about four years ago and has since attracted about $145 million in funding demonstrating the attractiveness of the multi-modal sector.
The figure includes its most recent round of $70 million which was announced last autumn.
