Blanca Menchaca has been appointed CEO of BeMyGuest, replacing Clement Wong, who is stepping down from the role.
Menchaca joined BeMyGuest in 2013 as co-founder alongside Wong, who founded the company in 2012 after working as an analyst for PhocusWire's sister brand, Phocuswright. She previously held the role of chief operating officer.
"I’m delighted and honored to be given this opportunity. Surrounded by our skilled team of professionals, I’m completely confident that the adoption of the technology we have designed to power the attractions, tour and activities sector in Asia is trending towards a pivotal stage of our business,” Menchaca says.
"On behalf of the board, shareholders and the entire team at BeMyGuest, I would like to thank Clement for his tremendous contributions during his time as CEO and wish him every success in the future.”

Prior to BeMyGuest, Menchaca held senior positions within Australian Enero Group and at metasearch startup Wego.
"Blanca's strong leadership and commitment to BeMyGuest have been one of the major driving forces of the company's rapid growth over the last few years,” says Kei Shibata, co-founder and CEO at Venture Republic Global.
“As a board member, I am excited to continue supporting her and her team who are ready to bring the company up to the next level."
Headquartered in Singapore, BeMyGuest claims to be the largest B2B aggregator of tours and activities products in Asia; its partners in the region include Ctrip and Yatra.
In July 2017, the company closed its Series A round of $8.5 million.
