India-based ride-hailing company Ola is extending its
platform outside that country to corporate clients in the United Kingdom,
Australia and New Zealand.
Ola launched “Ola Corporate” in India in 2016 and says it
now has more than 10,000 business customers and has reduced those companies’
transportation expenses by 25% due to the platform’s centralized digital
billing system.
“Ola Corporate brings the inherent benefits of Ola’s
technology platform to simplify the mobility requirements of large corporates.
Be it a point-to-point trip, traveling outstation, or renting a cab for
multiple trips, Ola Corporate brings the flexibility of choosing from a variety
of categories on the Ola app,” says Anand Subramanian, spokesperson at Ola.

“With enhanced safety protocols and custom-designed
solutions, we are excited to extend ‘Ola Corporate’ to our international
markets as well, and help businesses with a simple, effortless, and convenient
mobility experience.”
Ola Corporate clients use a personalized dashboard to add
and manage employees, and employees then book their own rides and tag them as
an “Ola Corporate” trip, creating an automatic payment from the company’s
account.
Ola Corporate also offers a range of safety features under
its “Ride Safe initiative” and is following hygiene and sanitization protocols
for safer mobility amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Founded in 2010, Ola says with this expansion it now serves
250 cities and has more than 2.5 million driver-partners.
