Travel Token Marketplace (TTM), which turns travel vouchers into digital tokens, has acquired Chain4Travel, developer of Web3 infrastructure the Camino Network.
With Chain4Travel's integration, the companies said TTM will become a platform that streamlines innovation, modernizes payments and improves digital value creation for the travel sector.
Tom Dillon, CEO and co-founder of TTM, said the acquisition comes as the travel industry is nearing “technological revolution.”
“The interplay of AI, blockchain and digital payment systems is creating a fast, scalable system that significantly reduces operational costs and accelerates market responsiveness,” Dillon said.
Joining Chain4Travel with TTM is a step forward in scaling the Camino Network ecosystem, said Pablo Castillo, CTO and CEO of Chain4Travel, a PhocusWire Hot 25 Travel Startup for 2025.
Castillo said the move will bring true blockchain innovation to travel.
“After building the decentralized infrastructure with the Camino Blockchain and the innovative Messenger protocol, the logical evolution is stepping into the user application field,” Castillo said.
While TTM will take on Chain4Travel’s responsibilities and rights with respect to the Camino Network, the network will remain decentralized.
“They will not only ensure the maintenance and technological evolution of Camino Network but also sustainably strengthen the consortium through their own marketable product offerings,” said Thomas Stirnimann, president of the Camino Network Foundation.
