HyperGuest, a specialist in hotel distribution, has secured a $25 million investment from private equity firm Apax.
The investment will speed up the company’s international growth. HyperGuest also plans to invest in its technology platform, with a focus on helping hoteliers compete as artificial intelligence (AI) reshapes the distribution landscape.
Apax has a background in scaling technology businesses globally and has previously invested in Guesty and acquired a majority stake in IBS Software in 2023.
HyperGuest, a PhocusWire Hot 25 Travel Startup for 2025, enables hotels to directly connect with travel distributors, including online travel agencies, tour operators, travel management companies and bedbanks.
“We built HyperGuest around a simple idea: Hotels and travel companies should be able to work together directly, quickly and at scale,” said Nir Yaron, co-founder and CEO of HyperGuest. “This investment is a major milestone and will help us accelerate our ambition to transform hotel commerce globally.”
“HyperGuest is solving one of hospitality’s fundamental challenges with differentiated technology and impressive momentum,” said Zehavit Cohen, partner at Apax Partners.
Founded in 2020, the company said it recently crossed $1 billion in total transaction value.
It announced Series A funding of $23 million in 2023, which it said would accelerate growth and enhance its services for hoteliers and travel providers.
