The partnership will provide airlines using the AeroCRS reservation system with access to Kiwi’s distribution network.
In addition, Kiwi will make its virtual interlining technology available to AeroCRS customer airlines.
The move is intended to expand the reach for these carriers as well as drive increased traffic to their websites. It also opens up new flight combinations to visitors to Kiwi.com.
A year ago, AeroCRS gained investment from El Al’s Cockpit Innovation, the investment arm of Israel’s national carrier.
Oliver Dlouhy, co-founder and CEO of Kiwi.com, says: “AeroCRS’s deep domain knowledge of airline IT synchs perfectly with our insights into traveller behavior and preferences. Further potential synergies will be revealed as the partnership develops, bringing benefits to travelers and airlines alike.”
This is the latest in a series of developments from Kiwi, which include its recent launch of a multimodal service offering flights and ground transportation.
