Vacation rental management company Evolve has acquired Guestworks’ portfolio from Vacasa for an undisclosed amount.
The Guestworks solution provides technology for short-term rental operators who oversee their own properties. One thousand Guestworks homeowners are included in the asset purchase.
Evolve co-founder CEO Brian Egan said the acquisition bolsters its leadership in hybrid, tech-enabled vacation rental management.
“This transaction strengthens our category leadership and underscores our focus on what we do best—leveraging technology and human expertise to deliver exceptional performance and service at industry-low rates.”
On LinkedIn, Egan outlined Evolve’s “transformation” since its founding in 2011, namely the development of its artificial intelligence-powered platform.
“This acquisition reflects that progress and sets the stage for our next chapter of continued growth and innovation,” he wrote. “Bringing Guestworks homeowners onto the Evolve management platform allows us to serve more owners who value performance, partnership and simplicity. And it enables both Evolve and Vacasa to focus on what we do best.”
For Casago, which acquired Vacasa in March, the move “creates space to deepen its commitment to locally owned, full-service property management provided by its network of franchise partners,” the companies said.
