Travel serves as a mechanism to bring the world together. At its most basic, it gets someone from point A to point B, without any bells and whistles.
A simple air ticket – minus upsells or add-ons – is also often the cheapest, but for consumers, an affordable fare can be difficult to find.
Enter Atlas, a Singapore-based travel tech company that wants to offer affordable air tickets to everyone.
Founded by Mary Li, Atlas enables consumers to “buy something easy,” the CEO explained during a PhocusWire Studio interview at Phocuswright Europe.
Using cloud computing, machine learning and artificial intelligence architecture, Atlas’ API can be implemented by travel sellers to deliver inexpensive and personalized flights to consumers.
In an interview with PhocusWire news editor Jill Menze, Li explained Atlas’ mission to help people discover the world, as well as her background as a technology entrepreneur.
