- Kuoni has taken on Affiliate Window to exclusively manage its performance marketing. The long-haul specialist was using a combination of Affiliate Window and Commission Junction but decided to consolidate its programme to one partner to strengthen relationships with publishers and take advantage of Affliliate Window's new technology platform.
- Premier Hotels of the World has partnered with Availpro to develop an online distribution solution incorporating a web, mobile and Facebook booking engine, channel management and guest satisfaction tool. The extranet will be integrated with the Premier Connect Suite property management system and launched with 50 member hotels. There is also scope to extend the partnership to offer the technology to Availpro partner hotels.
- UK-based rail specialist Rail Europe has adopted etracker's web optimisation tools to help improve conversion. The company will use etracker's five tools including mouse-tracking tool Visitor Motion, web analytics and page feedback. The solutions will enable Rail Europe to monitor consumer behaviour on its site and provide a comprehensive analysis of activity.
- Attraction and tours specialist DoSomethingDifferent has created a Facebook page dedicated to travel agents. The page provides news from the company and information on incentives as well as allowing them to upload photos and interact with each other. The facility also features a 'superhero' service pledging to support agents with selling to their customers.
