Virdee, a digital check‐in and virtual concierge service, has added $2 million to its seed round.
The funding brings the total to $4 million for the startup, with the investment coming from Silverton Partners as well as LiveOak Venture Partners and DJR Advisors.
Virdee is a software-as-a-service company and provides its virtual services to the hospitality and commercial real estate industries.
Nadav Cornberg, co-founder of Virdee, says it is now a question of when rather than if “automated check-in, verification and payment solutions will replace legacy methods.”
“We believe the time is now, and Virdee is the company best positioned to lead hotel and other real estate owners toward a completely contactless, efficient model of operation.”
Morgan Flager, managing partner at Silverton, says: “With demand for the company’s products rising faster than anyone could have expected, we are pleased to partner to help Virdee strategically scale its businesses.”
Virdee was founded a year ago and said in October that it wants to be in 100 to 150 locations towards the end of this year.
