TripAdvisor redesigned its Management Center for lodging owners and introduced videos, how-to-guides and a TripAdvisor for Business blog.
The new tools, some of which are self-promotional for TripAdvisor, are free and most of them can only be viewed if you are a registered property owner.
The revised management center and resources are geared "to help hospitality business owners, managers and marketers engaged with the TripAdvisor traveler community, drive sales and manage their properties' reputation online," TripAdvisor states.
The new tools include two-minute videos offering an overview of the company's free resources, how-to-guides and tip sheets, and a TripAdvisor for Business blog providing TripAdvisor news, "property success stories and industry updates," TripAdvisor says.
The new blog promotes TripAdvisor Master Classes, webinars (full disclosure -- one of which is with Tnooz), and anecdotes about hoteliers, such as the guest relations manager at the Tiran Island Hotel in Egypt who responds to all reviews, positive and negative.

Answer? It comes from booking partners or is provided directly by the hotel and can be updated.
Meanwhile, more fundamental changes from TripAdvisor may be under way as it recruits new customer care employees for both consumers and owners.
A spokesman says "enhancements to our customer support processes are forthcoming."
