The travel industry can't move for Facebook Messenger chatbots at the moment - but Musement has created what is believed to be the first one for tours and activities.
Following hot on the heels of tools from the likes of Cheapflights (here), Skyscanner (here), KLM (here) et al in recent months, Musement has this week launched a beta version of its own effort, giving Facebook users the chance to find information about attractions and things to do in a destination.
The service will initially launch in 26 of Musement's most popular cities, including London, Berlin, New York, San Francisco, Paris and Dublin.
Similar to other bot-type services, Musement's will act as a personal concierge so that users can use natural language queries to discover products and then be directed to where to make a booking on the main site.

Co-founder and CEO, Alessandro Petazzi, says:

"The local knowledge and information held by Musement’s experts will automatically recommend the best places to go or see in order to take full advantage of any vacation.
"It’s an incredible early demonstration of how bot technology can be used and adapted by different sectors."
Musement recently launched a tool so that a user gets a notification on their mobile when they are 500 metres away from an attraction, offering them a ticket, skip-the-line deal or even immediate access.
