Last week's article by Travis Pittman of TourRadar was one of the most popular of 2011 on Tnooz - but, as so often is the case, some of the comments deserve a post of their own.
Pittman looked at how the new Facebook will impact travel (massively, our headline said), but in the discussion that followed there was talk around the idea of Facebook being the gatekeeper of information, and how this will impact on how members use and share information.
Political activist Eli Pariser spoke at a TED conference earlier this year, discussing the so-called "filter bubble" and the "web of one", timely subjects given the recent changes to Facebook and moves by Google through +1.
