Hospitality merchandising technology company Nor1 has acquired Stay Delightful, a mobile-messaging platform.
The Denver-based Stay Delightful – a software that connects guests and hotels via SMS - will rebrand as eDirect and will integrate with Nor1’s existing suite of ancillary pricing and merchandising products.
The partnership with eDirect will allow Nor1 to upsell its services in real time via text message.
“This real‐time communication platform has shown to increase a hotel’s engagement with guests by up to 300% and upsell conversion by up to 40%,” says Jason G. Bryant, Nor1 CEO.
“Clearly this supports every hotel’s mission to deliver relevant upsell and upgrade offers to the right guest at the right price at the right time, throughout the entire reservation lifecycle.”
Based in Silicon Valley, Nor1 provides merchandizing products for hotels such as Hilton, IHG and Accor.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
