GoogleTravelUK is the Twitter handle used by the travel team in London, sharing its own datapoints and other useful information it finds on the web (thanks for the RTs, by the way!).
But, take a closer look. Interestingly the profile uses a rather curious and clearly Google-themed logo of an aircraft. [NB: Enlarged here for reproduction]
Now, conspiracy theorists might suggest that perhaps this is the start of a subtle branding exercise ahead of revealing plans for post-regulatory approval of the search giant's acquisition of ITA Software.
This idea becomes more interesting if you listen to those who suggest that the London team was behind much of the strategy ahead of the deal, announced in late-June 2010.
Or it could just be someone at the Googleplex in Victoria, London, playing with Adobe Photoshop... sorry, Picasa.
