Bertrand stays on as president.London-based HouseTrip launched in 2010 and received Series C funding of $40 million from Accel Partners just under two years ago. This was on top of $17 million from Balderton Partners and Index Ventures the company received in 2011.The home rental marketplace now claims to offer more than 320,000 properties worldwide on its system.HouseTrip also recently launched its first television campaign in the French market and signed a partnership to list its rentals on EasyVoyage.Most recently the company shaved about 5% off its inventory with a decision to remove private bedrooms from the portfolio.
