- The home rentals management specialist has appointed Fabrizio Giulio as account director. Giulio joins from Expedia where he was managing director of Southern Europe .

- The travel management firm has appointed Niklas Andreen as chief traveller experience officer. Niklas is currently senior vice president & managing director of hospitality, car, digital media, corporate and digital (Beyond Air) at Travelport. He replaces Matt Beatty at CWT and joins in September. The company's Traveller Services are being rebranded as Traveller Experience as part of the CWT 3.0 vision.

- Gillian Tans, CEO of Booking.com is to become an observer to the Ctrip board of directors, a position previously carried out by Booking's Asia Pacific director. The move follows an announcement regarding the further strengthening of the relationship between the two companies.
Quore - The hotel management software specialist has appointed Eric Lunt as director of sales for Europe. Lunt previously held similar roles at TinkLabs and Monscierge.

- The on-demand recreational vehicle and experiences platform has recruited Bob Bearden as chief financial officer. Bearden has previously worked in senior financial roles at Expedia, Hotels.com and Travelocity.
Wednesday 6 June 2018Amadeus appoints retail lead
- The company has announced that Leon Herce will lead the retail segment of its Travel Channels segment, taking over from Joost Schuring. Herce, who has been with Amadeus since 2004, will also have regional responsibility for the Travel Channels business for EMEA. Schuring is leaving the company to take up the role of CEO of Otravo.
Guestline appoints director for Germany
- The hospitality technology company has recruited Kris Roemer to lead operations in Germany. Roemer has previously held senior sales roles across technology and hospitality companies including Sabre, Marriott and IHG.
Betterez brings in Krish
- The ticketing and reservations management platform has appointed Jannine Krish as its marketing director. Krish has previously worked for Canada-based Metrolinx and Porter Airlines.
