Google knows what you did last summer.
Or at least, Google Maps has released an infographic that details how those in the US and around the Northern Hemisphere traveled from May to September 2012.
Six the top ten destinations were national parks, followed by the Empire State Building, Myrtle Beach, Niagara Falls, and Times Square.
In general, Americans were the most interested in local beaches. The French users of Google Maps were the most interested in camp sites.
As usual, what people choose to search for on maps isn't entirely a full picture of what travelers are actually interested in -- or ultimately visit.
