After years operating under the Holiday Taxis brand, Conxxe is the company's push into the burgeoning world of ground transportation on a worldwide scale.
The service is being launched this week to coincide with the PhoCusWright conference in Los Angeles.
Conxxe says it will be taking 12 years of playing in the B2B transfers business, with customers mostly in Europe, on to a global stage as technology, marketing and distribution allows it to capitalise on the rapidly growing sector of the industry.
CEO Peter Hilton says the company is well positioned for the "land grab" currently taking place in ground transportation, having learned the ropes and the markets through the original Holiday Taxis brand.
Existing clients include British Airways Holidays, EasJet, TUI, Thomas Cook, Kuoni and Dnata Travel Group.
It is hoped the new positioning will allow it to reach airlines, hotels and online travel agencies in new markets, without the legacy branding which the company admits has a very European look and feel.
The system is built around a suite of services known as AffiliTools, covering white label integration, XML connections, widgets and banners for third party websites.
Senior vice president for global sales, Ian Coyle, says the services are likely to be extended to other areas of ground transportation booking in the future, such as rail and metro links.
The global push comes on the back of research from PhoCusWright which illustrated ground transportation travel startups are now securing more than double the amount of capital than any other category, including those focusing on air, package tours or hotel.
In China alone, ground transportation companies have already raised $100 million-200 million in early stage funding rounds and around $900 million in funding across the entire APAC region is tied to taxi hailing-type services.
