Independent hotel digital marketing system Buuteeq has pulled in a further $2 million in funding, coinciding with the startup's two-year anniversary.
The Seattle, Washington-based company has now raised a total of $6.9 million since incorporating in February 2010, closing $3.5 million in June 2011 from Mike Galgon and Geoff Entress, other angel investors and Benaroya Capital Co.
The latest round comes in the form of an injection from existing investors such as Clark Kokich (chairman of Razorfish), Darin Brown (president of Europe for ad agency Crispin Porter Bogusky) and John Keister (vice chariman of Marchex).
Buuteeq says the round will be used to continue the current business plan on growing the service in the Americas (North and South including Brazil, Mexico Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, as well as US and Canada).
