Visit.Brussels is hoping to attract tourists back to the city following a noticeable dip in the number of visitors attributed to media coverage of the city's lockdown.
The destination marketing organisation has installed three telephones around the city and is encouraging anyone interested in the city to call and ask a local what life is like at the moment.
The #callbrussels campaign lets potential visitors from six European countries including the UK, Spain and France, ring one of three numbers on the campaign website to get honest feedback.
A webcam is also available to view and record the interactions with locals via the call.brussels website and video clips will be released on social media when the campaign ends.
According to reports, more than 1,000 people had already called by mid afternoon on Friday. The phone lines are scheduled to close later today.
