Booking.com's foray into providing B2B services to hotels has been reasonably quiet of late - but the BookingSuite platform has this week added a major tool to its armoury.
The RateIntelligence platform is being touted as the only one on the market (other providers of such hospitality forecasting systems might disagree) that can give a property a bucket-load of data that shows market demand and competitor information for up to a year in advance.
The company says the BookingSuite-hosted service will not require any XML connection or PMS integration and refreshes its information to the hotel every hour for data over the next 15 days and every day for the period covering the next 360 days.
Much was made of the BookingSuite business when it first came together almost two years to do the day.
The Priceline Group initially acquired digital marketing platform Buuteeq, with a deal to acquire Hotel Ninjas (for distribution technology) a few weeks later.
The other piece in the jigsaw was the deal to buy revenue management provider PriceMatch in May 2015.
