Camping platform Acamp has landed €2.5 million in new funding.
New investors Spintop Ventures and LRF Ventures contributed to the round for the Sweden-based company alongside existing investor Centripetal Capital.
Acamp, which was launched in 2020, connects campers to private landowners and companies that want to rent out their land.
The platform also enables hosts to offer experiences to campers via an 'add-ons' button on the site.
The startup will use the funds to accelerate growth and expand the business into Norway.
LRF is focused on investments in agriculture and forestry so the hope is its experience will help boost Acamp’s growth.
The company plans to open sites across the Nordic region with the aim of becoming the “No. 1 campsite marketplace in Northern Europe.”
Acamp has competition in the European campsite space with Netherlands-based JetCamp, U.K.-based Holiday Fox and Ireland-based Campsited all attracting funding in the past year.
