Travel startup Out of Office has raised $3.5 for its trip inspiration and planning app.
Hyde Park Venture Partners led the round, with participation from Cameo CEO Steven Galanis, former Orbitz chief product officer Chris Brown, ex-Havenly COO Jessie Dixon and others.
Launched in August 2021, Out of Office gives travelers inspiration and planning tips based on where their friends have traveled in the past.
Through the app, users can create trips, add places to them, collaborate with friends, book hotels and reserve tables. Users have made more than 50,000 recommendations in more than 3,500 cities.
With the funding, Out of Office expects to double its headcount in the next year.
The company is based in Chicago.
