Group booking specialist Lobby has raised $2.2 million in funding as it looks to expand beyond hospitality to other segments within travel.
The investment in the Switzerland-based company came from Founderful. Pascal Mathis, co-founder of the venture capital firm and a co-founder of GetYourGuide, joins Lobby’s board of directors.
Lobby, founded in 2025, is targeting meetings and conferences as well as the experiences, cruises and airline segments for expansion.
“With our engine, we will help our customers automate processes that were previously considered too complex and unlock new levels of efficiency and revenue for them,” said Romy Abbrederis, co-founder and CEO of Lobby.
“Lobby is tackling one of the most complex and valuable segments in travel: group bookings,” said Mathis. “What stood out to us is its ability to move beyond surface-level automation and execute workflows across systems. The travel experience of the founder team helps to build a solution which solves a real problem of the industry.”
Lobby’s artificial intelligence (AI)-driven platform aims to help hotels automate group booking requests from email, reduce manual processes and increase conversion rates. It can be integrated into Gmail, Outlook and property management systems, according to the startup.
It also said its technology can carry out various tasks including understand booking intent, check availability, validate contracts, draft quotes and convert accepted offers into reservations.
