YGO, a specialist in connecting agents to travel industry suppliers using artificial intelligence (AI), has landed €8 million in Series A funding.
Ventech led the round in the Germany-based company, and Sake Bosch, Caesar Capital and business angels also participated.
The investment will enable YGO to continue to develop its AI platform, ramp up sales and expand its customer base beyond Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
YGO, which first launched as B2C business YGO Trips in 2023, aims to help travel suppliers with the shift towards AI discovery and agentic commerce through its orchestration layer.
“Travel is one of the last major industries still built on infrastructure that was never designed for an AI-first world. We built YGO to change that: to give the travel industry the infrastructure to make its inventory accessible, bookable and ready for AI–whether through their own platforms or through external AI agents,” said Julian Kögel, co-founder and CEO of YGO.
The company's AI platform helps travel suppliers structure product information to make it easier for AI models to understand their inventory, without having to rebuild the technology stack.
YGO already works with European travel companies including Condor, Bentour and GetAway Group.
“Online travel booking is undergoing its biggest structural shift in decades, but most of the industry's infrastructure was never built for it,” said Nicolas Barthalon, partner at Ventech. “YGO’s customers are already re-owning their customer relationships with AI and putting real KPI uplifts on the board to prove it.”
Ralf Usbeck, a founder of travel technology companies including TravelTainment and Peakwork, is joining YGO.
