Alternative accommodations provider Limehome has raised €21 million, bringing its total funding to date to €26 million.
The equity portion of the round, which was led by Lakestart and included participation by HV Holtzbrinck Ventures and Picus Capital, featured all existing backers who are increasing their initial investments.
“We are very pleased that all existing investors have increased their stake in Limehome, and that we can continue our successful relationship,” says Dr. Josef Vollmayr, co-founder of Limehome.
“We see this investment as a strong vote of confidence in our business to date, and the enormous potential of the company.”
The round also included a debt investment from new backer Global Growth Capital.

Each accommodation includes keyless access, digital check-in/check-out and automated invoicing.
Since launching in 2018, the startup has expanded to 30 locations and has secured the opening of 35 more.
Funding will be used to develop Limehome’s technology platform and to expand across Europe.
