Tripscout owns and operates over 100 social media brands in travel, covering every major destination.

In June the company launched @hotel, an Instagram account for discounted hotel bookings that now has more than one million followers. 

The launch of the Instagram account coincided with the startup’s latest fundraising, a round of nearly $14 million in Series A funding and venture debt.

CEO Konrad Waliszewski says @hotel offers rates that are up to 75% off standard rates.

He presented the company during the Launch competition at The Phocuswright Conference and won the People’s Choice Award.
