European flight search service WhichAirline integrates with Skyscanner's metasearch API
- Explains WhichAirline in a press release: "Not only does WhichAirline instantly compare millions of global results powered by Skyscanner's API, but it also searches all possible flight combinations through low-cost airlines with a unique comparison technology."
Thursday 20 November 2014:SpecialGlobe launches its service for families who have special needs
- It's been a year of ups and downs, as all startups experience, since Tnooz profiled SpecialGlobe last March. But the site co-founded by Meg Harris, a mother and a traveler, launches today, after some minor pivots.
Tuesday 18 November 2014:Thomas Cook Airlines gets Amadeus distribution
- The carriers, based in Germany, UK, Belgium and Scandinavia, will be available of the Amadeus GDS as part of the agreement. In addition, they will be the first charter operators to use the ALTEA system, including reservation management, inventory and departure control.
Monday 17 November 2014:Travelport and Malindo Air sign debut distribution pact
- It is the first time Travelport-connected agencies will have been able to search and book fares on the Malaysia-based carrier. Malindo ancillary products will also be made available via the Travelport Merchandising Platform.
Farelogix adds new features to FLX Merchandise service
- The company's flagship product will now include premium seat inventory, flexible management of loyalty and award rules for carriers and new analytics tool. United and Air Canada have been named as two early users of the upgraded system.
Amadeus launches Rail Display tool in the UK
- The addition of the platform into the UK market means any Amadeus-hosted travel agent can sell international train tickets, including assigning seats. Online travel agency Voyages-SNCF is the launch partner for the product.
Tuesday 4 November 2014:Sabre inks with Enterprise Holdings
- The agreement will see Enterprise's three main brands, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alama Rent-A-Car, included in a new distribution package for Sabre-connected agencies. Pricing, availability and inventory for all three providers will be included on the Sabre network as part of the renewal.
Travelport gets
AirAsia India- AirAsia India content, including fares and all ancillary products, will now be available to Worldspan, Galileo and Apollo-connected agencies around the world. The carrier will also be using Travelport's aggregated shopping technology for comparison purposes for agents with network carriers.

Tripvillas rental site deal
- The exclusive deal sees 60,000 vacation rental properties from Tripvillas made available to Busy Rooms's customers on their online sales channels.
