- Product expansion for tour and activity platform GetYourGuide, moving into the world of shore excursions for cruise ship passengers. The dedicated channel contains over 700 trips targeting cruise fans on trips around the Caribbean and Mediterranean. GetYourGuide says each tour is coordinated with the departure and arrival times of visiting ships. Trips can be purchased for individuals or small groups and also include customised timetables.
- ConTGo will be hungry no more after securing a major contract with US Foods to run its business travel applications for staff. The ConTGo system will be deployed within the company's managed business travel programme, including mobile application, messenger system and MapCast system.
- Wego is stepping up its international expansion with the first public airing of a site targeting travellers in the United Arab Emirates. The version will be available in both English and Arabic. Wego bosses claim it is the first flight and hotel metasearch site created specifically for residents in the country.
- IFE Services has upgraded its website to showcase its tools for the in-flight entertainment industry. The site now features content clips for movies and television shows aired on flights as well as a carousel of the company's production work. IFE is also enabling people to connect with it via Twitter and Facebook or view its work on YouTube.
