Webjet.com.au and Zuji have helped report a profit for their mothership of $17.6 million, earnings for the latest 12 months show.
The Webjet Group saw profits increase by 195% for the year ending June 2014. Revenue over the same period was $91.18 million, an increase of 31.9% compared to the previous 12 months.
Total Transaction Value (TTV) contribution from Webjet.com.au's mobile channels (for flights + hotel + car) grew 150%.
Zuji and Lots of Hotels (LOH), the B2B brand of Webjet Group, delivered EBITDA of $1.85 million and $0.46 million respectively.
Managing director of Webjet Group, John Guscic, says of the performance of Zuji and LOH:

"The overall result was driven largely by the turnaround performance of the Zuji business, which in turn was due to the successful extraction of various cost synergies identified at the time of acquisition.
"The LOH business continues to perform ahead of expectations - with TTV run rates, margins and EBITDA contribution all up significantly over the past 12 months.
When it comes to the marketshare of Webjet.com.au in Australia, the company takes the top position with about 14% share, according to Hitwise:
Webjet.com.au's Packages business grew by 127% to a TTVof $27.74 million. Note: Below values are in AUD.
Asia-focused Zuji brand saw its operating costs reduced by over 30%, a period when it launch a Chinese language website and also it extended a partnership to provide holiday packages toVirgin Australia Airlines for a further three years.
The LOH brand doubled it presence to 20 markets, with a total of over 100,000 hotel partners. The company says it is planning to expand to a further ten new markets in Middle East and Africa by the end of this year.
In July 2014, Webjet entered into an agreement to acquire European (B2B) online hotel service SunHotels for $28.4 million. SunHotels has over 40,000 hotels in its system.
Webjet says both the LOH and SunHotels brands will share the inventory, its technology platform and also customer service.
As of 30 June 2014, Webjet had a cash balance of $47.9 million.
